The paint is in really poor condition for a car like that though :( Usually it is 10 times worse in real life, so I can't imagine how scratched and abused that thing looks. The 550 has always been "my" dream Ferrari too. It's so well proportioned and it even looked amazing as a racecar.

Well, a couple years back, he fell several hundred meters down a mountain at several hundred miles an hour in a hypercar that then combusted and so has a titanium leg now. I suspect that's the culprit.

Get the car back Richard, it will be a Ferrari that will go up in value in the near future… It’s beautiful, one of the best of it era... I love how we justify the purchase of a new car… Somehow someway we convince ourselves it’s the right thing to do at a time. Ouch!!

And then my dad purchased that Chrysler Maserati monstrosity… Italian looking? Next with K car design? Not exactly the best, I can’t tell if you three actually enjoyed her bi-turbos.. or was it just Bi-turbo Curiosity… And then the dreaded Renault “le car”..Was that supposed to be competition for the mini? Or the Honda Civic? I think my dad bought one of those as well… Just to drive to work, and then using the nice cars on the nice days… I love that car Richard… That’s one of my favorite Ferraris, especially the ones that were built during that era… It was our first truly beautiful Ferrari. The car that I think people are missing out on, as far as aesthetics… Is the BMW Z8… That is a gorgeous car, they only made them for a couple years knowing that it will be a collector car in the near future because of its beauty… Not the greatest car to drive, not the worst… It’s not a super car, it’s just a fast sports car convertible, designed to be a convertible.. and it’s truly outstanding, it’s gorgeous… But nobody talks about it… I wonder why? I've only ever seen one 550 Maranello on the road, and that was in Belgium in 1999. I also caught a very quick glimpse of a Bugatti EB110. Belgium, the place to go if you want to see supercars on the road.
